The band Fleetwood Mac was formed on blues roots, but gradually became a rock group. The most famous lineup of the British-American band was Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
With the double album Tusk (1979), they reached a platinum rating of sales in the United States and the UK, high interest in the album was also in Germany and France. At that time, Fleetwood Mac organized a worldwide tour for their fans. Over a hundred concerts in large halls and stadiums saw in total incredible 1.2 million spectators on 4 continents.
The year-lasting Tusk tour was very exhausting for the band members not just because of the music performances. The musicians consumed a big amount of alcohol and drugs, which also devastated the relationships in Fleetwood Mac. At the end of the tour, the band was threatened with disintegration.
