President John F. Kennedy was shot dead in Dallas (TX) on November 22, 1963.
Kennedy drove through the streets of Dallas as he began his presidential campaign for the second term.
Around the assassination of JFK, many conspiracy theories and speculations have arisen. The investigation was conducted by the FBI, later by the state attorney Jim Garrison or the House of Representatives Special Committee.
The official conclusions on the shooting of US President Kennedy were presented by a commission headed by Earl Warren, US Supreme Judge. The verdict of the Warren Commission is that the perpetrator of the assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald, acted independently. Also, Jack Ruby, who shot Oswald two days later, was not included by the commission in an organized congregation.
